CAMBODIA TREKKING TOURS (SOFT & GREAT ADVENTURES IN CAMBODIA)
Cambodia Trekking is a great way to see more than just temples in Cambodia. Following our carefully researched itinerary you will experience the beauty of Cambodia safely. There are still areas such as much of Samlot Forest that are still under de-mining projects but we are constantly being updated of new places that are safe to trek. We will add these to our new tours when we know we can provide the best and safest experience.
Right now, we recommend A full day of trekking (12km) up Kulen National Park and Beng Mealea temple which is really worth a visit. It is a good combination trip of the nature at Kulen including one thousand linga, grand reclining Buddha, the 30 meters high water fall plus the untouched Beng Mealea temple hidden in the jungle. Kulen remains a sacred place for local people. One thousand lingas lie in the river bed.
Many still believe the lingas bring fertility and blessing to the Angkor area asthe river flows from Kulen to Siem Reap. Beng Mealea is a beautiful, charming temple. It has it own character which cannot be found in any other temple. We can feel very peaceful sitting inside the temple as we leave behind the many tourists at Angkor. Another trek to consider is Dat Chivit Mountain located in the spectacular Kirirom National Park Mountain Range.
Bokor National Park has been closed for Resort Development so we have replaced it with Trekking at Dat Chivit Mountain which is located within the Kirirom National Park Mountain Range. With our experienced guides and rangers, you will enjoy the hiking to visit different attractions including a 40m high water fall and a wide variety of plants and animals while discovering the breathtaking nature and landscape of the region.
