Thailand Cycling Bangkok to Chantaburi 03 Days/ 02 Nights (Price: USD499 Per Person)

TRIP PROFILE

The trip will start in Bangkok where mountain bikes are prepared and the guide will brief on the cycling tour. We transfer visa Pattaya the former US marine base. Then start cycling 50 along cost line road to Rayong. Enjoy Pad Thais in one of the good Pad Thais restaurant in Thailand. Stay in a nice beach resort in Rayong to enjoy swimming and sea food. Visit the most sucessful mangrove study center in Thailand and cycle to Chantaburi, the paradise of bikers. We cycle about 140km on the cost line roads to Rayong and on the back road to Chantaburi.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Bangkok-Rayong (Cycling 50km)
Meet with our guide to brief on the tour and check the bike. Then transfer via Pattaya. It used to be US marine base, now boom with night life activities. Start cycling by taking coastline road by the sea around 50km. Stop for lunch to enjoy the Pad Thai. One of the best Pad Thais restaurant in Thailand. After lunch, visit Thais Buddhist pagoda located across the road. Late afternoon, we arrive in Rayong.  Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Rayong at the beach hotel. (L,D)

Day 2: Rayong-Chantaburi (Cycling 60km)

Breakfast at the hotel. We transfer to visit mangrove study center. At the mangrove, we can walk around and visit one of the most successful forest restoration project in Thailand. After the visit, we cycle 60km to Chantaburi, the paradise of bikers. The road is bit hill, then we cross 2 bridges where rivers flow to the sea. After the bridges, all are flat. On the way we stop and pay visits and talk to local people, see how they earn their livings. Then check in and spend the night in Chantaburi. Dinner at local restaurant. (B,L,D)


Day 3: Chantaburi-Ban Pakak(Cycling 30km)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Pongnamron market. Walk around to visit the market. Then start cycling on a less busy road to Ban Pakak, the Thailand and Cambodia border. Tour End before lunch, then transfer back to Chantaburi where you can take the bus to Bangkok or extend your beach break to Koh Chang on your own. (B)

Road Surface This tour follows asphalt roads, and one dirt road passing the countryside and the rice field. The back road along the river and village is small but good enough for cycling, less busy. A little bit sandy, narrow road, tiny lane, rural road along river side.
Support Fully supported van including spare part, cool box and back up service
Group Size Minimum 2. Maximum 15.
Staff Groups of 6 or more, a Cycling Tour Leader, plus English-speaking cycling guide, drivers and assistants. Groups below 5 will be led by our local guide and our local support team.
Food All meals are included (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
Children Children under 12-years old are not allowed to join this tour
